modify POTUS campaign rules (pass laws)
Pass laws to support the following:
Every viable candidate should be given precisely EQUAL TIME (media promotion) at NO COST to each candidate. This would eliminate prevailing unfairness. Time may be purchased by the DNC or RNC or ‘donated’ by any involved media organization. Laws would ensure that no particular candidate is favored due to being able to afford more media exposure.
Second part: Negative campaign ads would be illegal -- a candidate could only create ads that are “for” something, that “promote” something, and that do not attack the character, intentions, or credibility of opponents. Likewise made illegal would be similar behavior at in-person political events with an audience present.

Why is this important?
Only RICH people can afford to run for office. This ought not be. ANY qualified person should be able to run for office. EVERY CANDIDATE should have PRECISELY EQUAL AIR/MEDIA TIME at NO COST TO THE CANDIDATE (so that no one candidate has an unfair advantage merely by having deep pockets and an ability to greatly OUTSPEND opponents). Done right this could help eliminate POLITICAL DEBT and FAVORS (in terms of, "You helped elect me, now I'm going to make you Sec'y of State) . . . that kind of BS.
