Our representative democracy is in great peril. Reforms in campaign finance are essential to reforms. The Constitution needs an amendment on this issue to get the money out of the wrong places in our democracy.
Why is this important?
This is not a petition but needs to be a Constitutional Amendment. Without a means to reform campaign financing and the problems caused by Citizens United our Republic is in serious danger. Campaign finance reforms need to be at local, state and federal levels. Perhaps this is too broad but without reforms we continue down the same destructive Divide and Rule path..
