We wish this was a joke: Monsanto wants to sue the entire state of Vermont for daring to sign a law requiring GMO labeling.
Twenty-five other states are considering similar labeling laws, too — which is why Monsanto's claiming a labeling requirement would violate the company's freedom of speech!

Why is this important?
There's lots of discussion about what the long-term effects of GMOs might be, but one thing should be above debate: Consumers should know what they're eating and what they're feeding their kids.
