Moratorium on Fracking

There is sufficieint evidence to indicate fracking is responsible for polluting ground water and releasing gas that burns at the faucets of home close to the process. The cancer causing chemicals used in the process remain in the ground and could cause future pollution with catastrophic results. This industry is unregulated and cannot be held responsible for the results of their actions. It's time for a thorough investigation of the fracking process and identification of potential dangers to the
general population. Safeguards should be put in place and the companies should be regulated to insure the safety of ground water and the people that might be affected. The population that has been/ will be affected should have legal recourse to collect damages and should not have to shoulder the burden of proof. The fracking companies must be held accountable.

Why is this important?

Fracking is an unregulated industry that is not required to respond to the Environmental Protection Agendy or any other governence. The American people have the right to know the short and long term risks of fracking.
