More Training Slots for Doctors
America will need many more doctors in the years to come. Very simply, without residency positions to train them, they will not be there to treat our seniors or those being covered under the ACA.

Why is this important?
No doctor can practice in the U.S. without a residency. The number of residency positions has been capped since 1992. Unless more are added it is irrelevant how many med school graduates we have, there is a bottleneck. If you agree we will need a lot more doctors to care for our aging population and all the people who will be eligible for care under the ACA, tell your people in Congress to support the bills being proposed in both Houses to increase funding for training spots.
