Section 1 Corporations are not people and can be regulated.
Section 2 Money is not speech and can be regulated.
Section 3 Nothing in this amendment shall be construed to abridge the freedom of the press.
Why is this important?
This national petition is aimed at MoveOn's 7.5 million members. MoveOn has been helpful by sending out 8,300 emails asking 'should MovOn support this petition,' and 13.7% responded, but now we need to show that there is even more support for amending the constitution by simply stating 'Corporations are NOT people and Money is NOT speech' Please sign this petition, there are still 7,491,700 MoveOn supporters that have not yet seen it...and pass it on.
