You, Mr President, have directed your Justice Department to prosecute and convict those who have applied for and obtained mortgages by fraudulently falsifying their income. You have refused to prosecute any bankers responsible for such mortgages. We demand that you prosecute only the real villains, the fraudulent bankers, and that you immediately pardon the victims of such fraud, even if their mortgage applications were themselves fraudulent.
Why is this important?
The Justice Department has been prosecuting and convicting those who fraudulently applied for mortgages, but not one fraudulent banker has been prosecuted.
