Sign this pledge and tell the citizens of this country that you will serve them before any interest group, organization or person. That you will sign no future pledges while in office and renounce those that you have signed. That you will once again serve only the citizens of the United States.
Why is this important?
Politicians are so beholden to their parties, their super PAC, their special interest groups and getting elected that our voices get lost. I think we should ask everyone of them to pledge an oath to the citizens. One that reminds them what they are really there for. They should be asked to renounce pledges to Grover Norquist or any other person or group that is put before us the people.
