We urge Governor Beshear and the Kentucky General Assembly to name the new downtown Louisville bridge for our former governor and Senator, the honorable Wendell Ford.
Why is this important?
Wendell Ford served our Commonwealth with distinction for over thirty years. He was the first person to be successively elected lieutenant governor, governor, and United States senator in Kentucky history. His life exemplified public service to the people of Kentucky, and deserves to be remembered and recognized.
