President Obama, U.S House and Senate, please gather the moral fortitude with a direct approach to have a national conversation about gun violence in America.
Why is this important?
My petition is about encouraging President Obama to continue the concern of gun violence in America. He talked about gun violence, gun control and the families impacted by this type of violence during the debate.
I have also been personally impacted by gun violence when I lost my innocent 16-year-old son, Blair Holt, May 10,2007. President Obama, then an Illinois U.S. Senator seeking the democratic presidential nomination, called my cell to express his condolences to me.
