All politicians, regardless of political party affiliations, immediately face the 16 trillion dollar public deficit. The increasing deficit will leave our children and grandchildren a second tier republic.
Why is this important?
The national debt is nearly $16,000,000,000,000.00. That's 16 TRILLION DOLLARS. To pay it off each citizen in the U.S would need to contribute nearly $51,000.00.
The time is now! Republicans, Democrats, Tea Party and other political parties MUST stop the grandstanding and posturing and balance and start to lower this staggering figure. Either they get with the program or toss them out of office!
