National Grid Gas or Private Oil Companies, Wouldn't you like to have the option?

Currently, the majority of neighborhoods within the town of Brookhaven do not have an option of choosing gas for heating/cooking/cooling our homes due to the lack of pipes laid underground. The cost of both options (gas or oil) is rising, however, the cost to heat/cook/cook in our homes is by far more expensive with oil as opposed to gas. Why continue to worry about running out of oil in the middle of a blizzard when having your home heated by National Grid is more stable? Please join me by signing and passing on this petition if you too would like the option to choose...Gas or Oil.
