National Spay and Neuter law for all house hold pets
After 17 years of Animal Rescue, thinking spaying and neutering of feral cats and abandoned cats and dogs, we rescuers would put a dent into the never ending cat and dog overpopulation but it does not work unless people spay/neuter their pets!
Millions of stray cats and dogs born into unwanted households can be prevented if our Government local and on national level would implement a national spay and neuter law for household pets since too many people don't spay/neuter their pets even though they know that we have too many unwanted pets already.
Every single animal shelter and private animal rescue is overloaded with cats and dogs, rabbits and other house hold pets because there are no homes for all of them and most get euthanized due to lack pf homes. Most shelters use the gas chamber, others an overdose injected with a needle...others get just shot or hit over the head and so on.........
We as a nation are responsible for the miserable life these unwanted pets live, without daily food and water, sick and dying on the streets eating garbage and what ever they can find. Puppies born on the streets dying of Mange and other illnesses, kittens with torn legs because racoons, fox or Coyotes get to them..........
I am ashamed that this is going on in our society.
All it takes is a national spay and neuter law and heavy fines for people who do not comply.
Every dog and cat that gets adopted or purchased should get a tatoo in the ears so people can't just dump them on the street anymore when no longer wanted. It works in Sweden, Germany and many other European countries.
Our own country has no interest in such a simple law!
I urge all of you animal lovers to please sign this petition to help these poor animals.
When you look into a kittens sad eyes after it was found on a rainy day huddling behind a trash bin, wet and dying of upper rhespiratory and a belly full with worms, you would cry too.
If you see a 2 month old Pit Bull puppy dumped by the owner because it has Mange, being in texcrusiating pain with no help in sight, you would cry too.
If you see a moma cat highly pregnant but not strong enough to walk because she has not had food for days or maybe weeks, you would cry too.
If you saw a man kicking a pregnant cat in the belly to get her out of the yard, you would cry too.
It is unbelieveable that we as a society can see something like this happening without doing anything about it!

Please do not adopt from Pet Sores since these poor animals are bred from Puppy Mill breeders where the animals sit in cages for their short life.......once they can't be bred anylonger, moma gets killed!
Puppy Mills are the worst of all and there is no reputable Puppy Mill!

Millions of unwanted cats and dogs are living on the streets many end up euthanized in shelters, get killed on the roads, abused and kicked by people who don't want strays in their yards and all of that because irresponsible people do not spay/neuter their pets.
