NC Fracking Panel has biases

The appointees to the NC Energy & Mining Commission have conflicting interests due to their work as a members of nongovernmental conservation interests --suggesting they could make money from mineral rights leases if the commission issues drilling permits. Of these board appointments, one manages a family real estate partnership with holdings of 54 parcels of Lee County totaling over1,000 acres. Please sign this petition demanding that appointees to this board have no conflicting interests to protect the interests of the citizens of Lee County, North Carolina.
