A robust renewable energy economy incentives local investment in community infrasturce, creates high wage jobs, improves the environment, and supports existing jobs. NC has all the right criteria to be on the cutting edge of an energy revolution it just needs the political will to make it happen.
Why is this important?
I am a concerned citizen that advocates for a better North Carolina. It is up to everyday citizens to fight the effects of climate change. Changing the way we produce and consume energy would go along way to stopping global climate change. I am creating this petition to demand the NC General Assembly to take action on a state level to encourage renewable energy while also creating a new high wage industry in North Carolina.
