NCAA: Investigate Notre Dame's Shameful Sex Scandal
We call on the NCAA to immediately launch an investigation into the sexual assault of Lizzy Seeberg by a Notre Dame football player, and the University's shameful cove-up to protect the program. Let's not have another Penn State!
Why is this important?
Sexual misconduct and rape perpetrated by student athletes on the campuses of NCAA member Universities is out of control. After the decades of cover up at Penn State, and this latest incident swept under the rug by Notre Dame which led to the suicide of a student, it's long past the point where the NCAA must take action. One would think they'd have learned to be proactive after Penn State, but obviously they haven't.
