Not much happened during the last session of the Unicameral. Cutting programs is not the answer. Cutting taxes for the rich is not the answer. I urge the Governor and all members of the Nebraska Unicameral to seek in the months ahead to find new sources of revenue. One suggestion: Tax on sugared beverages
Why is this important?
Cutting the budget is not the best solution for Nebraska's economic problems. We can not maintain the Good Life by cutting the budget.
