Our elections are easily hackable. Our DS200 machines are so old the companies that sold them doesn't make software patches for them anymore. They also came with remote software, so if you have a problem they can fix it without your knowledge. Motherboard says it's the worst idea since putting a full ballot box on a Moscow streetcorner. It's hard to hack a pencil. Even if the results change when uploaded to the Secretary of State's office, there will still be a paper trail.
Why is this important?
Due to the coronavirus, election days have been closed, changed or possibly cancelled. Only five states have Vote By Mail laws in all elections. It should be national Vote By Mail for all 50 states. This is the perfect time to advocate for a Vote By Mail law.
