Governor Brownback, with all due respect for your office, I am telling you that neither my Kansas values nor vote are for sale. By my participation in state government and advocacy, I stand steadfast to support our Kansas children, advocate for middle class taxpayers, and disaffirm the advice given to you by former Republican presidential advisors who came after President Eisenhower’s administration. Your efforts being made for a greater free economy worries me. I am ready to vote against those in the general election who accept your beliefs. Thank you.
Why is this important?
Governor Brownback has sent a clear message to moderate Republicans. His party is different. It is no longer the party of President Dwight D. Eisenhower, Senator Bob Dole and Governor Bill Graves. This party believes in the Austrian School of Economics and the Libertarian Party's Koch's Free Economy. They are anti-public school, anti-worker, anti-woman, and anti-middle class. Every issue I advocated for, Sen. Brownback replied by letter stating he was too worried if my solution did not work. I, too, am worried. Worried about parents sending their children to school, worried about job creation, worried about women with no control of their body and worried about taxes and your adviser, Arthur Leffer.
