SC Government needs to explain why relatives of elected officials get preferential hiring over other qualified individuals. Transparency and accountability should be paramount in these times of economic hardship.

SC Governor has hired her 14 year old daughter to work in the State House gift shop. The other potential job applicants were overlooked and a less qualified person was employed because of their relationship with the governor.
