Banning fireworks within a 2 mile radius of where livestock or a kennel exists: Limit the personal use of fireworks to one day a year (4th of July) and with a permit required, outlaw the use of re-loadable mortars.
Why is this important?
I was nearly trampled by my horse as a series of fireworks were set off and he spooked. My 31 year old mare ran in panic to the point of dehydration and exhaustion, and for 5 days did not eat or drink and lost 90 pounds. Fireworks are out of control and there is a need for changes to be made to protect ourselves and our pets. Please join us and sign this petition.
