New Jersey MVC: Stop discriminating against atheists!

In November, New Jersey resident Shannon Miller tried to get a vanity plate reading "8theist."

The Motor Vehicle Commission rejected it as objectionable. So she tried "BAPTIST" instead... and it went through without a hitch.

American Atheists' President David Silverman had his "ATHE1ST" plate rejected too, but at least that time the MVC pretended it was a "clerical error" — now it's just ignoring all Shannon's messages.

Tell the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission to revise its policies and stop dictating what beliefs are objectionable!

Why is this important?

The New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commissiondoesn’t get to say religious plates are okay but non-religious plates are not.
