New Jersey: Ripping off citizens with state surcharges on top of Motor Vehicle punishments.

Eliminate NJ Surcharges imposed on drivers in the state of New Jersey, which are on top of MV fines, points and increases in car insurance rates. New Jersey is the only state in the country to enrich itself in this manner.

Why is this important?

I know many people who have made a mistake or mistakes while driving in the state of New Jersey. They are ticketed, fined, pointed, and must watch as their car insurance goes up, and New Jersey punishes them even more with a state surcharge that must be paid over 3 years. All of this money goes to the state. New Jersey, according to Wikipedia, is the only state in United States that imposes these surcharges, and it is 100% unfair.
