The students of The New School stand together to affirm the importance of the occupation at Liberty Square, and to express our hope for and commitment to a more humane future where educational, social, and economic opportunities are available to all, regardless of their class, race, and gender identification.
Why is this important?
The protests at Occupy Wall Street are closing out their first month. At The New School, supporting positive, majoritarian social change should be at the forefront of our consciousness. We are calling on all students at The New School to join in supporting the protests in whatever capacity they can.
