We, the New Town High Varsity Football Team parents are requesting that a formal complaint be submitted to Baltimore County to overturn the ruling on the field that a New Town player did not score the winning touchdown at the end of the game. The game in question was played on Friday, Sept. 4, 2015. We are also requesting that there be a review of whether or not a Sparrows Point player that was ejected in the game early on, returned to the game later using a different jersey number.
Why is this important?
The New Town player had crossed the plain and knocked over the pylon to score the winning touchdown. The official near the play was going to rule it a touchdown until the other officials that were no where near the play said it was not a touchdown. There is also a question of an ejected player returning to the game using a different jersey number. We need to take this to Baltimore County for proper action.
