New York State Democratic Party: Let Bernie Sanders on the Democratic Primary Ballot

Allow U.S Senator Bernie Sanders (I - VT) on the Democratic primary ballot. Excluding him is unfair and detrimental to the political process, please make an exception to the Wilson Pakula Act of 1947 for his campaign in the 2016 Democratic primaries for President of the United States.

Why is this important?

Bernie Sanders is one of the most honest politicians out there - he deserves to have a chance at the Democratic primaries. Because of New York's Wilson Pakula Act, Bernie may be barred from running for the Democratic nomination in New York because he is not officially affiliated with the Democratic Party.

However, certain exceptions are granted if a candidate gets permission from the state political party leaders. Despite this, the New York State Democratic Party is quite content to leave Bernie's name out of the primary.

Please, tell the New York State Democratic Party: We Want Bernie's name on the ballot! Only then can we have a good public discourse among candidates on issues that matter to New Yorkers and to the whole country.
