Dear Senator Addiego,
Can you please explain to your constituents why you are planning to change your vote on the cruel practice of pig gestation crates in NJ? You originally voted to end this horrible treatment, along with an overwhelming majority of the senate and house. When Gov. Christie vetoed the bill he held a meeting with certain members of the legislature (you being one of those invited). After the meeting you announced that you were changing your mind and would vote NOT to override his veto. How could you go from a strong supporter of ending this inhumane practice to voting against it? It is appalling that you would put party politics above your own beliefs and principles. I think you owe the people you represent an explanation.
I was told when I called your office that the staff was too busy to talk to me.
Sincerely,
Jeanne Clayton
Marlton, NJ
Why is this important?
