No Child Left Behind?
If a child turns age 5 during the school year they should be able to enroll and not have to wait another school year.
Why is this important?
Children at 5 years can begin school as a Kindergartener as long as their birthday is BEFORE September 1st of that school year.
This has been going on for years and it is not fair.
If a child is going to be 5 years old that school year, they should be allowed to start school with everyone else instead of being held back a year.
