No credit check when seeking employment
I want to petition a law to abolish credit checks for people trying to get a job in the USA. I believe that in this economy, where millions of people have struggled with being laid off of jobs due to economic hardships and of no fault of their own should not undergo a credit check.
Maybe a handful of people have good credit but alot of us have had to struggle surviving only on unemployment. I, as a matter of fact, was employed at the same job for over 25 years. Once they had closed down, I was faced with collecting unemployment, my regular bills did not go down and I had to struggle on 250.00 per week from unemployment. Of course I was not able to pay bills on time!!! No my credit is bad and an employer considers "that" a reason not to hire me??? I have been loyal and faithful to my employer for many years and my credit should not be a portrait of who I am!!!

Why is this important?
Im a great loyal and faithful and cannot get a job due to bad credit which was beyond my control.
