Return to Democracy. Honor the voice of the citizens of Michigan and eliminate the position of Emergency Financial Managers immediately.
Why is this important?
To eliminate any notion of an Emergency Financial Manager in Detroit or any other city in the state of Michigan. As the citizens have voted overwhelmingly to remove the said position in the 2012 election, it is the obligation of our state's elected officials to follow the will of the people. Anything less may be considered a totalitarian government practicing taxation without representation.
