No fame for murder
It should be illegal to report the name or show the picture of a person who has killed another human being. Heavy fines should be levied against all who fail to heed this law.( not just the first source to use the reference). The news media can report any other facts about this person,but we need to take the fame out of murder. We have been saying this since " Son of Sam" but have passed no laws to prevent these mass murders for fame.
Why is this important?
I worked in a television newsroom for over 39 years.We can report the news without showing the picture of a murderer or speaking his or her name. Let's take the fame out of murder.
