We are petitioning the City, County and State of New Mexico to ban fireworks completely in Colfax County New Mexico. Due to the recent fire in Ute Park New Mexico and the threat to the town of Cimarron, we feel banning the fireworks is vital!! The City of Raton puts on a great fireworks display for the 4th of July and people can view them from any point in Raton.
Why is this important?
Due to dry and windy conditions here in Raton and the surrounding County.
