We demand that our New England lawmakers institute immediate and permanent bans on fracking, on the transportation or sale of fracked oil or gas, and on the disposal of waste water or chemicals from fracking elsewhere in the country.
Why is this important?
Fracking kills. It poisons our water and creates vast regions of desolation from man-made earthquakes. It is financed by corporations that wield a dangerous amount of influence and control over our lawmakers. These corporations care nothing for the welfare of their workers or for the people who live in communities devastated by fracking. We reject their power and we reject all forms of fracking!
