Please consider something besides money, even though our state is in pathetic economic condition, and realize that no amount of economic activity or "prosperity" is worth the destruction of our environment and our health.
Why is this important?
I know from watching interviews with a number of people in other states how horribly damaging fracking is to the environment and the health of both people and animals. I have seen sick livestock, people with various mystery illnesses and cancers, and tap water that can be lit on fire! This proposed area in Illinois is right at my back door, and I am terrified that this may go forward.
