No Fracking Please
We need to protect our aquifers. Fracking poses a clear and present danger to those waters with the introduction of extremely toxic chemicals used to free the shale oils. Oil & gas companies have proved unreliable in safeguarding the environment from the effects of extraction methods. Do not vote to allow fracking in NC!
Why is this important?
I am concerned about the potential for ground water contamination and the undisclosed possible effect of the toxic chemicals used in fracking.
