No gun or rifle shooting within residential areas (less than 20 acres apart)

Even though it is a legal to conduct gun target practices at home in the Washington state, this law is outdated and it no longer makes sense to a modern day living. Monroe/Snohomish area in 2013 is a fast growing area and more houses are close to one another, People come home to relax, play and have a quality family time together. If you own a gun, go some place more acceptable to do what you want to do with it. Not your own backyard.

Why is this important?

Backyard gun target practices within the residential areas can be very loud and scary to domestic animals and humans. It can be heard from at least 10 acres or more away from the source of shooting. It is an invasion of most people's private air space, and disrupts otherwise peaceful environment. Gun owners should go to the permitted gun target practicing areas, not their own backyard.
