Petition to make California a no-kill in animal shelters State. Ask 1 dollar from every voter to help with costs aside from the allocation of monies from the state government. It would help to house animals in bigger shelters and help efforts to place them in their forever homes.
Why is this important?
If we passed a law that punishes animal abusers, how can we turn around and kill the animals we are trying to protect? The euthanizing of beautiful animals is cruel and this affects me since I have rescued my own pets.
