NO More Super PACs!
We have seen how huge amounts of money pumped into campaigns by super rich right-wingers corrupts the entire process, allowing elections to be bought and sold, and to revolve largely around financing. As such, elected officials have to spend inordinate amounts of time fundraising--when they should be doing the work of the people. We cannot let offices simply be purchased. Let's end the role of Super PACs in campaigns now!
Why is this important?
Did you receive multiple emails a day during this election cycle, asking for money? I sure did. And it's the fault of the uber-rich right-wing super PACs. If they raise obscene amounts of money, what choice does the other side have but to try to match these dollars? Our elections should NOT be about money! The role of these super PACs in elections MUST be stopped.
