No Nuclear Waste at Yucca Mountain!

The dangerous plan to store nuclear waste at Nevada's Yucca Mountain needs to be stopped.

The House just passed it, so it’s up to the Senate to stand up for people’s health and safety by voting no.

Nuclear waste storage accidents can have devastating effects on local communities, impacting people's air, water, and health. And transporting nuclear waste to Yucca Mountain from around the country would endanger communities in the 44 states it would pass through.

No one should have to live under the threat of a nuclear waste accident ruining their water, their health, and their future.

Reject nuclear waste storage at Yucca Mountain.

Why is this important?

For years, short-sighted politicians have been trying to turn Nevada's Yucca Mountain into a storage site for nuclear waste. Now they're close to making it a reality, and we need to push back.

The House passed a bill that would start the process for bringing nuclear waste to Yucca Mountain – and transporting it through communities in 44 states on its way there, endangering water sources and families every step of the way.

Tell your senators: Don't allow nuclear waste at Yucca Mountain!
