No Pardon for Joe Arpaio
Joe Arpaio has a long history of detestable, racist behavior.
As Sheriff, he willfully violated a court order and shirked his duty to protect the people of Maricopa County in order to fulfill his own vile agenda against immigrant families and people of color.
We demand that Joe Arpaio face justice.
Why is this important?
Trump suggested he may pardon Arizona sheriff Joe Arpaio, the Arizona sheriff just convicted of criminal contempt for violating a court order on racial profiling.
A pardon of Arpaio wouldn't just be a confirmation of Trump's bigotry and contempt for the rule of law. It would also be an affront to Americans everywhere who believe in justice and civil liberties.
