We the undersigned are demanding that a bill be introduced and passed that stops all pay for all senators, congressmen and the President if an agreement of the "Fiscal Cliff" is not reached by the end of the year. Putting the decision off until a later date will not constitute an agreement. Pay for all invoveld would stop as of 1-1-2012 and continue until an agreement is reached. There would be no provisions for getting back any lost pay.
Why is this important?
The petition is to have a law enacted that would stop all pay to members of the congress and senate as well as the President if an agreement on the Fiscal Cliff is not reached by January 1, 2013.
