The Iowa Air National Guard is being asked to pilot Reaper drones, which will be used to kill people in countries with whom we are not at war. We insist that there be no weaponized drone control unit in Iowa.
Why is this important?
The current US use of weaponized drones is illegal, immoral, and counter-productive. Gov. Branstad and the Iowa Legislature have oversight of the Iowa National Guard and provide some of its funding.
