The House of Representatives has shut down the federal government to avoid upholding a legally-passed law supported by the Supreme Court and endorsed by the majority of Americans who re-elected Obama. We demand that, as federal employees, they should have no pay or benefits while the federal government is shut down and the law of the land is subverted.
Why is this important?
The American people are suffering from loss of pay and the unavailability of federal institutions. If other federal employees lose their pay, so should the Congressmen who made this choice.
