No Self-Managed Restaurant
We, the owners of Sun City Anthem, believe the adoption of a self-managed restaurant is not in the best interests of the community.
Why is this important?
1. We believe this is not a prudent expenditure of association funds in light of 5 past failures.
2. We do not believe association funds should be used to finance its operation in any way.
3. We believe the self-managed proposal has many flaws and concerns that include, but are not limited to: Continual increasing dues assessments; increased financial liability to members due to the serving of alcohol to seniors, guests, and strangers; increased insurance costs; income tax liabilities; strong and numerous competition in immediate surrounding areas; and the negative effect on investment property owners who rent property.
