No Social Security Cuts
We urge Senator Brown to stand firm with Senator Reid's pledge to not allow our financial security be compromised in order to satisfy a compromise proposal between President Obama and Representative Boehner. We're sick and tired of the working people in America constantly having to make the largest sacrifices in almost all of the fiscal policies that Congress and the president work to make law. No longer will we stand by as the leaders in our government and business work to ensure that we, the Middle Class workers of America suffer the consequences of poor financial mismanagement and greed. Social Security is NOT for sale! Believe it!
Why is this important?
It has been reported that President Obama has made a compromise offer to Representative Boehner to offer cuts to Social Security. While not yet a retiree, these cuts would negatively affect my financial security as I have no pension and like most people, my 401K is, and has been dramatically diminished due to the greed of Wall Street sharks.
