Please stop all efforts to disenfranchise voters, which includes unfair redistricting, complicated, difficult ID requirements, limited availability of polling places, and restricted absentee voting. Easy voting access without daunting obstacles and hurdles is the spirit of democracy and we ask you to pursue all such efforts to make voting universally available and easy,
Why is this important?
If America is supposed to be the leader of democracy worldwide, we need to set a good example. Suppressing the vote in any form, from complicated ID requirements to redistricting to disenfranchise votes, making voting difficult is fundamentally UN-democratic - frankly, unpatriotic. This is becoming a growing problem nationally and must be addressed in every state. Voters need easy access to their polling booths - voting needs to be easily accessible to anyone who is qualified to vote.
