Stop TSA from handing our data to ICE
ICE agents are infiltrating airports across the country and immigration arrests are surging, all because TSA is handing your passenger data to ICE.
In 2025, the Trump administration quietly struck a data-sharing agreement between TSA and ICE, handing over your name, birth date, and travel details every time you fly. It's since expanded far beyond its original scope. TSA is now flagging anyone with an expired visa, including people who are currently working with the federal government to renew their status or who have legal paperwork pending.
The increased ICE presence and detentions happening at airports is putting all travelers at risk. No one should have to fear TSA security lines or domestic travel. Congress can shut this down right now. Earlier this month, representatives in Congress introduced the No TSA Data for ICE Act to end the TSA-ICE data-sharing agreement for good.

Why is this important?
ICE agents made between 20 and 40 arrests per day at U.S. airports last month alone, and agents have now been deployed to at least 25 airports nationwide. This surge traces directly back to a data-sharing agreement TSA signed with ICE back in May 2025.
TSA isn't just flagging people with final deportation orders, it's flagging anyone with an expired visa, including people actively working with the government to renew their status or with a legal case still pending. Immigration attorneys say ICE is under enormous pressure to hit daily arrest quotas, and this pipeline is the easiest way to do it: people come to them.
Earlier this month, ICE agents detained a Georgia man on a Delta jet bridge in Atlanta, pinning him to the wall and handcuffing him, because his name happened to match someone else's. If this system can't even reliably tell citizens from the people it's targeting, no traveler is safe from it.
ICE shouldn’t have endless access to our data and travel records. Booking a flight is not permission to participate in the government’s surveillance network.
