No vote on Supreme Court until the Russia investigation is complete

Senator Burr, you agreed with the Intelligence Community that Russia likely interfered in the 2016 election in Trump's favor. There should be no Supreme Court confirmation until that investigation is complete.

Why is this important?

On July 3, the Senate Intelligence Committee, led by North Carolina Senator Richard Burr, released a report agreeing that Russia interfered in the 2016 presidential election in Donald Trump's favor.

Depending on how successful that interference is, we may not have a legitimate sitting president. If that is the case, Trump should not be able to name a lifetime appointee to the highest court in the United States. A Supreme Court justice has great power to change people's lives, and no justice should be confirmed when the presidential election is in question.

I'm calling on Senator Burr to recuse himself from the confirmation vote on Brett Kavanaugh until we know the extent of Russia's interference.
