The new law regarding voters presenting ID on Election Day in order to vote is unenforceable, because it goes against the Pennsylvania State Constitution and Federal Law.
It is clearly a political tactic to discourage minority voters and others. We're asking Jim Forsythe, the Director of Voter Services for Chester County, to refrain from enforcing this backward, politically discriminatory law to the full extent of his authority.
Why is this important?
Jim Forsythe, don't enforce this unconstitutional law on Election Day. It is not allowed by the Pennsylvania Constitution and Federal Law.
