Like all other government employees, when Congress is not working they should get no pay.
Why is this important?
The sequester has brought with it many problems. One problem is furloughed government employees not getting paid when on furlough. But, Congress gets paid whether they work or not. ( They go on furlough a lot) Like all other government employees when they don't work they should not get paid.
